Whilst each of Tregloans’ four partners has substantial experience and expertise, it is their collective depth of technical knowledge and the ability to form strong relationships with clients that has driven Tregloans’ long-standing success.

Michael Fairlie

Michael joined Tregloans in 1998 after 17 years experience in taxation and business services with a “Big 4” firm. He became a partner in 2000. Michael advises clients in all forms of taxation and business matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, GST, superannuation.

His clients include retailers, manufacturers, professionals in medical, dental and related businesses, family investment groups and many others.

Michael is married with three daughters. In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing tennis and regularly attends the Adelaide Crows football matches.

Gary Hugo

Gary has been with Tregloans for 30 years and also has “Big 4” and international experience. He advises private business clients in business related matters, structuring, management accounting and related taxation and secretarial functions.

Gary has a very practical approach to issues, which he combines with his depth of knowledge and experience to create sensible and realistic solutions.

Gary is married with three adult children. He plays tennis and maintains a healthy lifestyle, including a regular swimming routine.

Luciana Larkin

Luciana joined Tregloans in 1996 and became the firm’s first female partner in 2003. Luciana brings enthusiasm and energy to her role in advising a wide variety of taxation and business clients.

Within the business, Luciana provides specific expertise in
superannuation matters and is also responsible for our comprehensive internal staff training program.

Luciana and her husband have a passion for physical fitness, which she says provides her with clarity of mind, boundless levels of energy, strength of body and formidable endurance to tackle the demands of professional life.

Simon Tscharke

Simon has been with Tregloans for over 10 years and has recently been admitted as a Partner.

Simon works closely with clients to provide advice across a wide range of business needs including taxation matters, asset protection, structuring advice and all aspects of financial reporting.

Simon has specific expertise in management accounting and complex taxation matters. His clients include property developers, construction companies, manufacturers, retailers and wine producers.

Simon is a member of FINSIA and is currently undertaking the Master of Taxation Law at the University of NSW.

Andrew Woods

Andrew began his accounting career in 1991 after 10 years in the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining Tregloans in November 2003, Andrew worked in a number of large multinational accounting firms. Six months after joining Tregloans, Andrew became a partner.

Andrew is highly experienced in the issues faced by small to medium business owners across a wide spectrum of industries.

Andrew has 2 children and enjoys home renovation, downhill bike racing and constructing steel garden sculptures.
